Keep your care guidance on every plant you sell, and help the customer keep it alive
Plantorbia is a post-sale plant success platform for nurseries and garden centers. Your care schedule rides with every plant a customer claims. They get reminders, photo health checks, and an AI care assistant. You get a customer record that keeps filling in after checkout, and the plant's full history the day a warranty claim is filed.
30 days of full Growth on signup for Starter or Growth, card required but not charged during the trial. Then whichever plan you chose — or the free Basic plan.

Three things Plantorbia does, in order of importance
It is not warranty software, and it is not only a CRM. The warranty piece matters, but it is the third job, not the first.
Plant success
Every plant a customer claims arrives with the watering schedule, light level, and placement notes you set for that species. From there the customer gets watering reminders, photo health checks, and an AI care assistant that says when it is not sure rather than guessing. The point is narrow, and it is the whole point: the customer keeps the plant they bought from you alive.
Read moreA customer relationship that continues after checkout
Plantorbia keeps a customer record that fills in after the sale, not only at it: the plants they claimed from you, their logged care activity, their support threads, and their warranty history, in one view per customer. It is the groundwork for staying useful to a buyer for as long as they own the plant.
Read moreWarranty intelligence, never a verdict
When a customer files a warranty claim, Plantorbia assembles the plant's Care Trail and surfaces one of four review states, with the evidence behind it laid out. A staff member reads that and makes the call. Plantorbia does not approve, reject, or pay a claim on its own.

Follow a single Japanese maple through the seven steps of the post-sale relationship.
- 1
Sell
A customer buys a Japanese maple. Your staff already have a care template for that species: watering cadence, light, placement, and notes, set once and reused on every maple you sell.
- 2
Send
At the register, staff record the sale against the customer's email and pick the template. Plantorbia emails the customer one claim link. There is no app to install at the counter and no separate store account to create.
- 3
Care
The customer opens the link, signs in, and the maple lands in their collection with your schedule already filled in. They start getting watering reminders, and they can run a photo health check or ask the AI assistant when a leaf looks wrong.
- 4
Connect
The plant stays linked to your nursery. A customer record starts building on your side: the maple, its purchase date, and every care action the customer logs against it from here on.
- 5
Support
Six weeks in, the customer has a question about leaf scorch. They raise it on the maple itself. The thread lands in your staff inbox with the plant's history attached, and staff can generate an AI-drafted reply to edit and send. A person always sends it.
- 6
Understand
Your dashboard shows how many handoffs became claimed plants, how many customers are connected, and how support and warranty activity is trending, so you can see whether the after-sale program is doing anything.
- 7
Review
If the maple dies and the customer files a warranty claim, it arrives with the full Care Trail and one of four review states. Your staff read the evidence and decide to replace, credit, refund, or decline. Plantorbia records the decision. It does not make it.
What your staff actually work in
The nursery side is a plain staff dashboard. Four of its screens, described as they are.
Plant templates
A list of the care templates your nursery has defined, each with a common and scientific name, watering interval in days, light level, placement, and notes. New sales pick a template from this list.
Checkout
Staff enter the customer email and add line items by template and quantity. Submitting records the sale and sends the claim email. The sale then shows as sent until the customer claims it.
Customer record
One customer opened out: their email and name, when they first connected, every plant they claimed from you with its species and claim date, their support threads, and their warranty claims, all on one screen.
Warranty claim review
A filed claim with the problem category, the customer note and photos, the four-state review label with its reasoning, and the plant's Care Trail. Staff choose approve, reject, or request more information, then record replace, credit, refund, or decline.
Free to start, room to grow
Basic is free and volume-capped. Starter raises the caps at $59 a month. Growth removes every cap and adds the full warranty reasoning at $169 a month.

Nursery FAQ
Straight answers about scope, cost, and what the product does and does not do.
What is Plantorbia for a nursery, in one sentence?
It is a post-sale plant success platform: it keeps your care guidance on every plant you sell, gives customers reminders and health checks so the plant stays alive, builds a customer record that continues after checkout, and hands your staff the plant's full history when a warranty claim comes in.
Does Plantorbia replace my POS or inventory system?
No. A POS and inventory system handles stock, pricing, and the transaction. Plantorbia handles what happens after checkout. Most nurseries keep their existing POS and add Plantorbia alongside it. The comparison page covers where the line sits.
How does a plant get from my nursery into a customer's account?
Your staff record the sale against the customer's email and choose a care template. Plantorbia emails the customer one claim link. They sign in, pick which plants to keep, and each one is added to their collection with your care schedule attached and the plant linked back to your nursery.
Do customers need a separate account for my nursery?
No. A customer signs in to Plantorbia once. One account works across every nursery they buy from. There is no anonymous plant data, so a customer is always signed in before a claimed plant is added.
What does the Care Trail actually contain?
For each claimed plant it combines system-observed events (reminder sent, diagnosis completed, support thread opened, claim filed), customer-reported care (watering and fertilizing the owner logged, conditions they reported), and nursery-recorded events (staff notes, the warranty decision). The source of each entry stays visible, because a system-observed event and a self-reported one are not equally strong evidence.
Does Plantorbia approve or reject warranty claims automatically?
No. When a claim is filed, Plantorbia evaluates the available Care Trail and surfaces one of four review states, supportive, concerning, insufficient evidence, or policy excluded, with the reasoning shown. A staff member reads that and decides. Plantorbia records the decision and never moves money.
What does it cost?
Basic is free: up to 15 active plant templates, up to 40 customer handoffs a month, one staff account, full customer care, the support inbox, and up to 5 warranty claims a month with a policy-window eligibility check. Starter is $59 a month: 50 templates, 150 handoffs, 20 warranty claims, 2 staff seats, full customer records, and full analytics, still with the policy-window eligibility check. Growth is $169 a month and removes every cap, adds Care Trail reasoning across all four review states, and unlimited staff seats. Every new nursery gets 30 days of full Growth free on signup, on either paid plan; a card is required to start the trial, but you will not be charged until it ends.
Are support and warranty available on the free plan?
Yes. The support inbox is on every plan. Warranty claims are on every plan too: capped at 5 a month on Basic and 20 a month on Starter, both with a policy-window eligibility check; Growth removes the cap and adds the full Care Trail reasoning across the four review states.
