About Plantorbia
Plantorbia is a plant care app that tracks your plant collection, sends care reminders that adjust to your season, identifies unfamiliar species from a photo, and checks plant health when a leaf looks wrong. It is built for the gap between "I know I should water my plants" and actually remembering to do it.
Why we built it
Most plant advice online is written for a species in general, not for your specific plant, in your specific room, with your specific watering history. A care sheet cannot know that you already watered your monstera nine days ago, or that your apartment gets unusually strong afternoon sun in summer. Plantorbia exists to close that gap by keeping a real record and adjusting guidance to your actual conditions and season, including flipped seasons in the southern hemisphere.
How we think about accuracy
Plant identification and health checks are powered by AI, and useful only if you can trust them, so Plantorbia's AI is built to say when it is not confident rather than guessing. A blurry photo or an unusual species gets an honest "not sure" instead of a made-up answer. We would rather ask for a clearer photo than hand you a wrong diagnosis you act on. That is the standard we hold the AI to, not just a disclaimer buried in the terms.
What we believe about pricing
The free plan is a genuine way to use Plantorbia long term, not a countdown to a paywall. It covers a small collection completely, with no credit card required at signup and no feature that quietly stops working after a trial period. Paid plans exist for people whose collections outgrow the free limits, not as the only way to get real value from the app.
Try it with your own plants
The free plan covers up to 3 plants. No credit card required.
