How the estimate is built

Replacement value is claims per year multiplied by your average replacement value. Staff time is claims per year multiplied by minutes per claim, converted to hours, multiplied by your hourly cost. The total is the sum of the two. Claim rate is claims divided by warrantied sales. Cost per warrantied sale is the total divided by warrantied sales. It is deliberately simple arithmetic on figures you provide.
