Not an ongoing free plan you sign up into. Every new account starts with a 1-month free trial of the full Pro plan, unlimited plants, reminders, identification, chat, and 50 health checks a month. A card is required to start the trial, but nothing is charged until it ends, and cancelling any time before then means nothing is charged. If you cancel or let the trial end without paying, your account keeps a small amount of ongoing access (a handful of plants and reminders) rather than being cut off, but that resting state isn't something you can sign up into directly.

Plantorbia uses AI image recognition that works well for common houseplants and garden species from a clear photo. When confidence is low, such as with a rare species or a blurry photo, it tells you it is not sure instead of guessing, so you are never acting on a fabricated result.

Yes. Plantorbia supports both indoor and outdoor plants, and adjusts watering and care guidance based on your climate, season, and hemisphere.

Yes. Plantorbia works as a web app from any browser, alongside native apps for iOS and Android.

Your plant collection, photos, and care history stay in your account. Cancelling only limits new activity beyond the resting-tier caps, it does not delete your existing plants or history.

Plantorbia tracks your specific plants, in your specific location, with your specific watering history, rather than giving generic species advice. Reminders, health checks, and care guidance are all based on what you have actually recorded, not a static care sheet.

We are upfront about that because we think how the AI behaves matters more than whether we use one: ours is built to say when it is uncertain rather than inventing a confident-sounding answer, which is where a lot of plant apps fall short.
